We got to know each other while working at Stone House, the patients loved you and knew where to go for a cigarette if they didn’t have any and and Jack always got a cigar. We moved next door but one to you and became good friends, we went to a few concerts together can remember seeing the Bee Gees and Barry Manilow with you. We used to walk most days with our dogs Jodie and Amble and if I was on holiday you looked after Jodie for me which she loved. As you became ill your life changed so much but you just accepted it and made the most of what you could do. Life was unfair to you because you didn’t deserve what you went through in the last few years but when I came round we could still have a laugh. In the last year with Covid I couldn’t see you so often but used to have a chat on the phone. I will miss our friendship, the laughs, the swearing when things didn’t go right but you are out of pain now. RIP xx
